A poll conducted by the Independent newspaper and MOP in Great Britain surprisingly revealed that the majority of UK citizens wants British troops to pull out of Iraq. 55% said yes to withdrawal, only 28% said no, and 17% didn't know. That represents a majority of two to one! The Independent speculates whether these results weren't somehow fostered by the revelations of torture of Iraqi prisoners by both US and UK troops. But, what it fails to ask, funnily enough, is how many people in Great Britain actually ever wanted troops "in"!
